So if you’ve come here, I can only assume you want to know about me. Fortunately for you, I happen to be an expert on myself.
Comic books are a passion of mine. I’ve been reading them for as long as I can remember. One of the first ones I got was a Batman comic. The story was titled “Dark Angel”. Took place after Knightfall. I was captivated by both the story and it launched me deeper into the worlds of superheroes and comic books.
Likely to the ire of my teachers, comic books were the primary form of literature I read. They engaged my mind in ways that most novels simply didn’t at the time, but it was more than that. They inspired me, along with several cartoons, toys, and video games that I was into. Beyond just reading and observing, they encouraged me to visualize new realities. I’ve been drawing ever since.
I didn’t just want to draw specifically to entertain the fictions of my own mind, I wanted to share those imagined realities with others. In some sense the internet has satisfied that, but I want to reach out further. I want to entertain and engage others just as various creators have entertained and engaged me through their art.
I want to create comics for people of all ages. I want to entertain adults and engage and nurture the minds of youth. I want to share the things I enjoy and I want the world to enjoy it with me. It is my hope that through my art I can spread suspense, drama, and action, but most of all, I can spread joy.
